In support of artists during the pandemic, the Koger Center for the Arts created and hosted The 1593 Project: A Call for Art in the spring and summer of 2020. Kimberly Case, an Irmo-based photographer, won of the 2020 Project and is the featured artist in an exhibition that will be housed in the Upstairs Gallery at the Koger Center. This exhibition will commemorate the winner and runners-up April 8 - August 13, 2021.
Kimberly Case, the 2020 Project winner, is an award-winning local visual artist focusing on fine art and portrait photography. Hallmarks of her work are richness and whimsy. Her photographs are often mistaken at first for paintings due to their tones and aura.
Due to safety and scheduling issues, reservations are required to view the exhibition. To make a reservation please email Lauren Smith (Las6@mailbox.sc.edu) of call (803) 777-7500.
