Bang a Gong: It's Monday! • Main Street Gong Installation
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Main Street Columbia

Celebrate Make Music Day Monday with a bang! Join the Koger Center on Main Street in Columbia for an interactive gong installation inviting amateur and professional musicians alike to play along to famous "gong moments" accompanied virtually by world class orchestras performing renowned pieces of music. This free and open event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21st on Main Street in downtown Columbia.

Instrument Petting Zoo at the Koger Center for the Arts
11:30 a.m - 1:30 p.m. in the Koger Center Lobby

Enjoy musical fun for the whole family on June 21st from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Koger Center's "Instrument Petting Zoo!". Presented in partnership with the UofSC  School of Music, children of all ages are invited to interact and engage with a diverse array of musical instruments at the Koger Center as an introduction to drums, pianos, harmonicas, percussion, strings and more! This event is free and open to the public in the Koger Center lobby.

"Koger Center Presents: THE Dubber" Video Release Party
6:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. on the Koger Center Patio

As a culmination of the Koger Center for the Arts' Make Music Day activities on Monday, June 21st, The Koger Center will present acclaimed local artist "THE Dubber" for a performance event open to the public in celebration of the release of his new music video. The South Carolina based artist has been trailblazing across the country and abroad with the sophisticated one-man-band guitar style and universal message of openess. Always and crowd favorite, THE Dubber has played prestigious events and venues including South by Southwest and the House of Blues. Local food trucks will serve dinner and desserts while guests enjoy the performance. The free and open outdoor event will take place on the Koger Center for the Arts' Green Street patio.
