Koger Center for the Arts
To celebrate the opening of the brand-new outdoor Koger Center Plaza Stage, the Koger Center for the Arts will be hosting Squonk from Sunday, September 25 to Monday September 26 for three free performances of their spectacular show, “Hand to Hand.” There will be two shows on Sunday at 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and one 6:00 PM performance on Monday. The performances are a part of Squonk’s 30th anniversary tour across the United States, bringing free entertainment to arts enthusiasts everywhere.
Squonk’s larger-than-life concerts are part of a new Koger Center Presents series that focuses on the incorporation of the new outdoor Plaza Stage into the collective of Koger Center performance spaces. Squonk has received critical acclaim throughout their 30 years of performing by creating shows with boisterous energy, unique set design, and original music. “Hand to Hand” encourages audience engagement by inviting members up to the stage to control the massive hands themselves. The level of audience participation that Squonk has ensures a unique concert performance that sticks with every attendee after the performance, and aligns with the personal mission of unification amongst audiences and performers that Squonk holds on to for every show.
