The imPOWERED Planning Committee is excited to announce a day-long Business Summit consisting of empowerment, business networking and motivation for current and aspiring business owners, entrepreneurs and the community. This event will take place at the Koger Center for the Arts on Saturday, July 27, 2019 beginning at 10am, doors open at 9am.

The imPOWERED Business Summit 2019 hosted by Burris & Pressley Realty will feature The Breakfast Club’s one and only DJ Envy and The Hip Hop Preacher Eric Thomas as speakers. Both speakers will also attend the catered Social Networking event immediately following the Summit at the Koger Center for the Arts. All VIP Ticket Holders will receive a pass to attend the Social Networking Event.
DJ Envy and his real estate partner, Flipping NJ, are taking the country by storm in the real estate market. They will be on hand to share their story and knowledge regarding the real estate industry and their success with “flipping” homes. The beloved Hip Hop Preacher Eric Thomas (ET) who provides daily motivation to his 1M followers on social media, athletic icons such as Lebron James, corporate executives in the boardman, ESPN and so many more, will travel from Michigan to motivate and inspire the Midlands community. Eric Thomas has used his life story of growing up in Detroit, college years in Alabama and earning his PhD to inspire others. His authentic vulnerability and storytelling skills provides consistent and relatable inspiration to the masses.
In addition to the speakers and social networking event, attendees will have access to a variety of local vendors who will have goods, services and information on hand for all who attend this phenomenal event.
